Biases linking looks to traits like competence or discipline disadvantage people, especially women, older individuals, or those who don’t fit conventional beauty norms. The article compares lookism to racism and sexism, noting that customer preferences often reflect prejudice. 

You can see that "Appearance" and "Discrimination" is standing out in this image. This shows that "Lookism" is closely connected to appearance discrimination which people have experienced or may have experience in near future in the workplace or during the job.
